The Ing Foundation is hosting the 2017 International Collegiate Go Tournament, to be held at Panyapiwat Institute of Management, Bangkok, Thailand, this summer. The event starts on July 7th and will finish on the 13th.
This event is open to any current, future, or recently graduated college(both undergraduate and graduate) student, who will or has attended school in the year 2017. All costs related to room, board, tours, and travel during the event will be covered by the Ing foundation. The student is responsible for getting to and from the tournament site, for any personal expenses such as souvenirs, and entertainment during the course of the trip.
This is a truly unique experience as the Shanghai Ing Foundation does not spare any expense during the planning of this event. If you would like to know more about this program, you can find the schedule, and tournament regulations in the attachments below.

While there is no hard deadline to apply by, spots do go fairly quickly. All applications will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis.

The Fourth Annual World Collegiate Go Championship and the Semi-final of 14th Chang-Qi Cup will be hold in Panyapiwat Institute of Management in July 2017.
The championship will be jointly organized by the International University WEICHI Federation (IUWF), Shanghai Ing-Chang qi Weichi Foundation, Go Association of Thailand and Panyapiwat Institute of Management. This Fourth Championship is back to Asia again after three successful ones in Hong Kong, Taipei and Toronto. In order to encourage and improve the female Go players, the Championship will still set up the women's group. All the female college Go players are welcome to apply for this championship.
The IUWF successfully organized three Collegiate Go Championship in Hong Kong, Taipei and Toronto. More than hundreds of selected college students from almost one hundred famous universities around the world to attend the championship. The students from Harvard University, MIT, University of Toronto, Waseda University, Meiji University, University of Oxford, Tsinghua University, Peking University and other famous universities gathered and became friends because of Go in The Chinese University of Hong Kong, National Tsinghua University and University of Toronto.
The top professional Chinese Go players will also show up and compete with multiple college students. It will be great to have the party for international collegiate Go player in beautiful Thailand.
